Alcohol/Drug/substances abuse is becoming an increasing menace in our nation especially in Kerala. Studies shows that even school and college students are attracted to liquor, narcotic substances and Tobacco products. The major cause of concern is that a significant proportion of these young people eventually get addicted posing a threat to their own health and safety, while creating untold miseries to their families and the public at large. In order to curb the above menace Excise Department as part of Vimukthi Mission conducting Anti Drug Clubs. This stands for augmenting and strengthening the existing awareness programme against drugs and alcohol.
